Transition Culture

Remembering our own inherent gifts, our code to contribute to culture.  In these times of cultural regeneration, what’s most needed is individuals reconnecting with their own inner wisdom, their own seed of self that guides who we are each growing into.  Spending time in Nature is the most ancient path to accessing our own Pristine Origins and simply Being: being breathed by the winds, being warmed by our own inner fire of digestion as well as the fire of the sun, being held up by the Earth, being in motion with our inner emotions, and in that full experience of being human can we consciously and powerfully intend to be present and to co-create our reality with our awareness and collective community action.  Before we can create community, we must remember our own truths, so that we can find unity in our commons.  As we go out into the solitude of Nature, we come back with Medicine – our own gifts which are integral to the healing and holistic capacity of community to regenerate.

So, we must find our own source…of energy, of inspiration, of life, of love, of creativity.  And in reweaving the web of community we re-learn how to plant that seed in the soil of culture.  We can mentor each other in finding ways to both authentically and effectively plant our seeds of wisdom in the collective.  From that healthy soil which consists of a healthy, vibrant, diverse culture, the nutrients exist to support seeds to grow.  In the garden: we don’t grow plants, we grow soil and let soil grow plants.  The same principle holds true in the garden of life: we don’t grow humans, we cultivate community and let the culture support individual expression to find its place and to grow into its highest potential.

If that’s the vision, what’s the pathway?  BioSpiritual Permaculture offers guiding principles and pathways to design and create systems to support holistic culture.  From meeting our essential needs of water, food, medicine, and shelter to our deeper human needs of energy, celebration, nature, and love we explore the human capacity to co-create our lives – with each other, with the elements of Nature, with the energy of life, and the influence of the cosmos.

Drawing upon the wisdom of human cultures from around the world, BioSpiritual Permaculture synthesizes practices of cultural regeneration with the intention of supporting individuals in accessing their own seed of wisdom and in bringing those gifts back to the community and knowing how to bring them back to their own communities.

WE ARE WILDNESS

Our mission is to help improve the health of the planet by inspiring people all over the world to reconnect with Nature. Alissa first created this community because of a clawing at her soul. She was looking for a community of Nature-lovers who understood her weirdness and supported her wildness, but couldn’t find it in her physical reality. The internet was the solution and now this new wild community grows daily. We put the “WE” in We Are Wildness by sharing our community member’s stories, experiences, art and websites. Yes, we think it’s ironic to mix rewilding and technology (the internet) but the balance seems to work and we love connecting with people from around the world. We Are Wildness is growing, sprouting new branches and leaves and is flowering with amazing people and ideas. We welcome you here and hope you participate in your own unique way. WAW is a place for people to learn and connect. We strive to bring you high quality information in the following topics: Wild Body | Wild Mind | Wild Spirit | Wild Home | Wild Gear | Wanderlust | Wildlife
