The two drink recipes listed below are the opposite ends of the spectrum. I use the green drink to ward off illness and to have natural energy. Lately, I have taken to simply munching on the ingredients separately instead of making a smoothie of them. It is a great combination of green foods either way. The mint chocolate smoothie is a way to get your coffee fix WITHOUT toxins, extra sugar, or any other nastiness. It is a really decadent drink with no harsh side effects.. As you can see, only one teaspoon of milk is required. I find that it is just as good without the milk and extra mint, but sugar free almond or soy milk does the trick too. Have fun!


Green drink: kale, lemon, cilantro, celery, mint, a tiny bit of coconut water
-The kale adds nutrients, while cilantro purges carcinogens from your system.




Mint Chocolate Coffee Smoothie

6 ounces of brewed coffee, chilled

Peppermint Stevia

Dark or milk chocolate Stevia

¼ teaspoon defatted powdered cocoa (Wondercocoa)

Ice cubes

1 tablespoon milk (optional)

è Blend ingredients together until smooth. Serve with a mint leaf garnish. Half and half cream can also be added in moderation.
