Billa this group was made for me! ! I have been researching myself on TIME...and read that at one TIME, TIME never existed...it's put people into a harsh type of pressured life...thankyou for thinking to start this group. When anything relevant comes back to me I will post it!

Yes. I start the month on the new moon, then start the week at it's first sighting which according to this would be 9, 16, 23, 30. There could be a 1-2 day new moon, just depending on whether it's sighted or not . . . 19 out of 20 times, the phase lands on these seventh days, and for the days it doesn't I just figure close enough . . . It's a rhythm that feels right to me in every respect . . . though on occasion I don't feel like resting . . . . but I'm not as "trained" to this as I'd like always either as I'm around people still on artificial time . . . When I went off on my own for months and just forgot about the rest of the world and whether it was Monday or Tuesday, this calendar was just a part of me, it was the bomb.

Thanks Ryan...sooooo resting time during the New Moon and at, essentially, every dip in the graph? 8, 16, 24, 30...ish

K, here it is:

What you're looking at is a graph of the water uptake of Limburg seeds plotted against the phases of the moon, (FM = full moon, LQ = last quarter, NM = new moon, FQ = first quarter) averaged over a two year period. These rhythems are known as "circaseptan" (about seven).

There is evidence that the entire world used to base months on the moon, and there is evidence that the week was at one point a subdivision of the month as well, with a 1-2 day "break" from the cycle in between months (as the lunar month is 29.5 days).
